Wealth Management Partners is honored to have been voted Southern Maryland’s top investment firm by the readers of Southern Maryland News.

The contest began in 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, when the newspaper invited readers to nominate and vote for the best businesses by category across Calvert, Charles, and St. Mary’s counties. That year, the “Reader Approved” contest received over 100,000 votes, and Wealth Management Partners was named the winner in Charles County for the Investment Management category. We repeated our win in 2021.

In 2022, the format shifted to select just one winner per category for all of Southern Maryland (Charles, Calvert and St. Mary’s). Wealth Management Partners was proud to receive this top honor again from 2022 through 2025.

Ralph S. DeVito Achievement Award

Wealth Management Partners in 2019 became the first team to be selected by The Investment Center for its prestigious Ralph S. DeVito Award, named for the firm’s founder. As our team won this award, Joyce Cool became only the second woman to earn such an honor.

The Investment Center is an independent broker-dealer and has been recognized by Investment Advisor Magazine seven times as a Broker-Dealer of the Year. In 2019, it hosted its National Education Conference in New Orleans.

The conference culminated in a dinner at the World War II Museum where the annual advisor awards were bestowed. The highest honor presented was the Ralph S. DeVito Achievement Award.

It is a distinguished honor that recognizes advisors who demonstrate excellence with their clients, execute on business development, give back to their community, deliver unparalleled service and have an exceptional reputation.

Putting the client’s interest ahead of our own, providing outstanding service and communicating with clients in an open and honest fashion aren’t just marketing slogans for us. They are our guiding principles.

This award means so much to us because it recognizes the characteristics that we strive to achieve. Being in a position to receive this recognition would not have been possible without the trust our clients have placed in us and the advice and support from numerous colleagues over
the course of our careers.
